4:08 Ayr – BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND (NAP)
This Karl Burke runner loves it here at Ayr – she’s 3-3 at the Scottish track and is taken to make it four.
She actually won this race in 2024 too – albeit in a dead-heat, but hopefully things won’t be as tight today.
A recent bronze in the G2 Temple Stakes was a top effort and now eased in grade (Listed) looks the clear one to beat at a track we know brings out the best in her.
I’ll take Diamond to sparkle here.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:00 Newmarket – AL HUDAIBA
Would have won the last day at Yarmouth – but jinked badly in the closing stages to unship Tom Marquand.
Zac Lloyd takes over and had a nice winner for Godolphin here at HQ yesterday.
This is also a race Charlie Appleby loves – he’s won five of the last six.
This Dark Angel colt can make amends today.
5:55 Nottingham – CYRANO DE BERGERAC
All the to lose by a nose gags were reeled out last time – but he in fact lost by a head.
That came at Windsor earlier this month, but despite that being his second silver that is still the best form on offer here.
So should be going in here and can hopefully win by more than a nose!
8:45 Nottingham – KALOKALO (NB)
Won well at Windsor the last day despite hanging badly left in the closing stages.
Up 6lbs for that, but jockey Harry Vigors takes off 7lbs this time, so is really a pound better off.
Yes, the hanging thing is a small worry, but here at Nottingham, which is a left-handed track it might not be as bad as he’ll just up up on the far rail anyway.
