This horse, for me, is better on the AW and that is backed up with his grass stats being 0-16 heading into today.
Yes, he was only just touched off the last day at Bath and is on the same mark today – but, the fact remains he’s still winless on the turf.
The Richard Hughes yard are also only 1-24 in recent days (4%) and so in what looks a competitive race I’m happy to look elsewhere for the winner.
Just like earlier this week (when this horse was put up), I’ll take something else to sink The Thames Boatman again.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
