Andy Newton’s Lay Of The Day Horse Racing Tip: Wednesday 5th August 2026
5:40 Yarmouth: LUMINOUS WARRIOR
Amateur riders’ race here so that comes with risks all over the shop.
But this Dylan Cunha runner is the likely favourite after a nice win here last time.
However, that came over 1m and he’s back to 6f today – so a big two furlongs drop in trip.
He’s also up 5lbs for that win, so based on last time, today’s conditions will be loads different.
I’m happy to take him on with several other fair chances, including So Grateful with the experienced Serena Brotherton in the plate.
