Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips Today: Sunday 2nd August, 2026
1:50 Galway: TEED UP
This Emmet Mullins runner was down the field here two runs ago on the level.
Plus also ran at this marathon meeting last Monday – so will be having his third appearance at the 2026 Galway Festival today.
But is back today over the sticks in a race he’s got solid history in – winning the pot in 2022 and 2023.
He’s back rated 5lbs higher that when winning this in 2023, but got the job done by 3 1/2 lengths that day.
His runs recently at this meeting (on the flat) have been fair too – 3rd and 5th – and not beaten far each time.
This Mullins runner looks ‘Teed Up’ to run well.
3:52 Chester: KORKER
One of my old ‘cliff horses’ is back in action and so I have to give him a mention today.
This Burke runner has been frustrating to say the least and even though CD winner Dance In The Storm looks the likely winner – there could be some value down the field.
Korker is on a run of 28 races without a win – with that last success at Windsor in 2023.
But he’s now rated 89 and won that race off 102 – so is 13lbs lower.
He also ran for the first time here at Chester two runs ago off 91 and fared well when a staying on 3rd to Lexington Jet.
He’s since run well at Newcastle, when 4th to Room Service on the AW – while Jack Nicholls is back in the saddle to take off another 3lbs.
At some point this old-boy will go in again – and even though it might not be today with the red-hot Balding runner in the race – he looks a fair place option in an open affair away from the jolly.
4:38 Yarmouth: RISEN AGAIN
The John & Rhys Flint yard are in good order at the moment – coming into today with 3 winners from their last 8 (38%).
The also run Bellini Spirit in the 4:08pm on this card, so both could be worth small interests.
But Risen Again is a proven CD winner at this venue and having run down the field over 1m4f the last day at Ffos Las, the return to 1m2f is a plus.
Yes, he’s only won once from 24 starts, but is down to a mark of 61, which is 3lbs lower than his sole success.
William Carson, who knows the horse well, is in the plate.
