Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
2:00 Uttoxeter ICE JET (NAP)
Has been in top form over hurdles – winning three on the bounce and is back today having his debut over fences.
Yes, might need to brush up her jumping on what we saw the last day, but has had 46 days off since and is sure to have been well-schooled.
Up 7lbs more for that last win but you feel there should be more to come from this improving Skelton horse providing the jumping holds up.
I’ll take Ice Jet to ‘freeze out’ his rivals yet again and continue his winning run.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
6:00 Tramore DREAM ON BABY
This should be straightforward for this Emmet Mullins runner, who was last seen running second to Wodhooh in the Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
Back on the flat here but she should have too much class for this lot today, with Gary Carroll in the saddle.
6:50 Brighton: RADAHN (NB)
I thought this George Scott runner showed a good attitude the last day at Wolves – running on well to take 2nd.
Yes, was 2 lengths off the winner there, but was doing his best work at the finish and so this step up to 7f looks a big plus.
The Scott yard also do well here at Brighton with a 25% overall SR with their recent runners.
7:20 Brighton PREFER THE SISTER
The race has cut up a bit with a few non-runners, but looks to revolve around Dion Baker and Prefer The Sister.
This pair met last time, with the pick coming out well on top, but Dion Baker has since bounced back to win at Yarmouth just 5 days ago.
They meet on the similar terms here so the obvious call is to stick with the James Owen runner, with the yard remaining in good order.
