Today’s Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Tuesday 7th July, 2026
2:30 Uttoxeter: IVANE
The James Owen yard have a top record with their chasers at Uttoxeter – with a 50% (6-12) return.
Therefore, anything they run over the bigger obstacles there today should be noted.
Included Ivane, who was a disappointing 4th the last day at Stratford. But is down 2lbs and I also feel this drop back in trip is a plus.
He’s also back into a C4 race (from C3) and has been freshened up with 38 days off.
4:18 Pontefract: HARSWELL RUBY
Low draws have held sway in this race in recent years – with all of the last 5 winners coming from gates 1-3.
So it’s no shock to see Welbury (1), Clonquest (2) and Harswell Ruby (3) near the head of the market.
All three are noted, but a chance is taken on Ruby to be the gem of the low-drawn runners here.
She is back in grade (C4 to C5) and has been dropped another pound from last time, when 5th at Carlisle.
And is now only a pound higher than her last winning run, which came at Thirsk in April and also for today’s rider Jo Mason.
6:40 Wolverhampton: NAUTICAL SKY
A very open-looking race with CD winners Masqool and First Encounter the likely jollies in the betting.
But the yard on show here with the best track SR is James Ferguson (20%) and his Nautical Sky is, therefore, of interest.
She’s only had five career runs and despite yet to trouble the judge has run okay.
Down another 2lbs here from last time and is back over 1m 1/2f., Which saw her best finish to date (2nd).
In a poor race, there might just be more to come from Nautical Sky, who can hopefully cause a storm tonight.
8:20 Brighton: MIST OF TIME
Today’s final each-way horse racing tip comes at Brighton in a poor Classified contest.
Mainly as the Knight yard are giving her an e/w squeak with some family connections to Brighton.
While the stable also do well with their runners at the seaside track – boasting a 32% SR overall, which increases to 67% (4-6) with just their 3yolds.
Saffie Osborne rides, so Ill take a chance on Mist Of Time ‘clocking’ the right speed figures.
“Mist Of Time ran much better stretching out to 1m2f at Yarmouth last time. It’s a similar 0-50 Classified and I think he’ll handle Brighton – his sister Forgotten Treasure liked the place. Small each-way. “ William Knight FromTheStables
