Old boy sprinter, who has returned to form of late after two wins from his last three.
The last coming here at Ponty last month and is up 3lbs for that.
This takes him to a mark of 92 though and the last time he won off this high was in 2023 (100).
Yes, draw 3 looks ideal – especially as all of the last 6 winners have come from gates 4 or lower.
But the other niggle for me today is that he’s up in grade – from C3 to C2 – and so despite clearly being in-form, will need another step forward today.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
