Knightsbridge will be popular here, but I think the Polly Gundry runner King Of The Story is worth a play as the better value e/w pick.
This 10yold actually landed this race 12 months ago, so we know the track suits.
Yes, he’s back rated 14lbs higher, but despite his advancing age won back in September off a pound lower mark than today.
Meaning he seems to be holding his own well at the age of 10 and maybe even improving a tad.
Ben Poste, who rode last year, is also back in the plate – so King Of The Story could easily get closer to Knightsbridge (pulled up last time) back over this shorter trip (2m 4f).
4:25 Worcester: KARTHALA
The Jennie Candlish yard have their horses in good order at the moment – coming into today with a 43% SR in the last 14 days.
They run this 4yold here, who is yet to score but has only had five runs over hurdles.
He took a leap forward the last day too, when 3rd of 12 at Perth and having done his best work at the finish the step up to 2m 4f looks a great move.
7:55 Fairyhouse: FAMOUS ENOUGH
This horse has a few duck eggs next to his name in recent runs – but as a result is dropped to a mark of 50 now.
Today’s race also doesn’t look the best quality, which will give him a better chance of getting involved.
While the thing that caught my eye is the top SR of the Patrick T Foley yard here at Fairyhouse – they boast a cracking 3-6 (50%) record with their 4+yolds.
Famous Enough could make a name for himself here.
