5:20 Epsom: IMPERIAL CULT
Heads here having won his last two in decent fashion and will be popular as a result.
But I think there are a few reasons to look elsewhere for the winner.
First up, this is a rise in grade – from C6 to C5 – and he’s also up 6lbs for the last of those wins.
Those recent victories also came on the AW and he’s only 1-21 on the grass, with that sole turf win also coming on soft ground.
We’ll have plenty of others running for us – including last year’s winner of the race Bobacious, who is back rated 2lbs lower too.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
