Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
10:30 Yarmouth – MOUNTBATTEN (NAP)
Got off the mark at the fourth try at Southwell last time – winning by an easy 4 3/4 lengths.
Up 6lbs for that but still 4lbs well-in under that penalty.
Looks your typical Sir Mark Prescott improver that could rack-up a few quick wins.
With more also to come now upped from 1m4f to 1m6f.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
1:15 Doncaster – WARDLAW (NB)
Another Prescott runner here that stands out, despite being a tad frustrating in his recent runs.
Heads here 0-6, but has run some fair races in defeat and has only two to beat here.
Dylan Hogan takes over from Luke Morris, but the big plus here is the yard love this race.
They’ve won the last THREE and four of the last seven.
2:18 Cartmel – LOCH CUAN
The Cartmel card today should get off to a good start for favourite backers with this Gordon Elliott and Sean Bowen runner.
He was a good winner over CD last time (3 lengths) and should be able to give away the 7lbs to the rest based on that form.
6:53 Newcastle – DIAMOND RAIN
This Godolphin runner took this pot last season and should be hard to beat again.
She’s rated 114 and 8lbs clear of Sky Safari, plus even gets a handy 3lbs from that Fanshawe runner.
A recent 3rd at York was a fair run to the useful Sea The Fire and will head here 1-from-1 on the AW.
William Buick gets on well with her – guiding her to all four career wins – and the pair are taken to grab a fifth here.
Diamond Rain should be making a splash again in this contest.
