2:30 Ascot: NOTABLE SPEECH
Will be a popular pick here and it’s easy to see why after bouncing back to form to win the Lockinge Stakes last time.
That race has been a good guide for the Queen Anne Stakes in recent years too – plus Godolphin like this race, with eight wins.
However, strangely none of those wins have been for their number one trainer Charlie Appleby as yet.
This 5yold was also only 4th in this race last season and the season prior was 7th in the St James’s Palace Stakes – meaning the jury is very much out about how he handles Ascot.
With many other options, including last year’s winner Docklands, 2025 Wokingham runner-up More Thunder and Opera Ballo – then I’m happy to have all these running for me.
