Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Tuesday 16th June, 2026

2:30 Ascot: DOCKLANDS

Won the Queen Anne Stakes last season and is back aged 6.

Yes, we’ve only seen one winner 6+ since 1977 take this (Lord Glitter), but Docklands is a horse that loves Ascot.

His form here overall reads 1-1-3-2-2-2-1-4 and should get his conditions again.

It’s a top renewal with the likes of Notable Speech, Opera Ballo and More Thunder – but we know Docklands love this place and looks a good option to hit the frame at worse.

4:42 Thirsk: KING’S CROWN

This Michael Dods horse won on this card last season and with his consistent profile looks ready to go close again.

He’s rated 2lbs lower than when last winning and heads here off a fair third at Pontefract last month.

Sean Kirrane knows the horse well and rides again and is a two-time course winner.

5:35 Ascot: NAHRAAN

This was my NAP on the Final Furlong podcast for day one and has been backed since – but probably nothing to do with that!

We’ve got last year’s winner too – Haatem – who also won the Jersey Stakes here in 2024.

But Nahraan gets the nod in a race the Gosden yard like – having won five of the last 15.

He impressed to win his first three races of his career last season, including a Listed race at Hamilton.

Probably found the ground way too soft last time at Longchamp and it’s interesting that connections have kept him fresh since.

Oisin Murphy rides and is sure to be well tuned up first time back out.
