Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Thursday 28th May, 2026

2:48 Yarmouth: DRIFTS AWAY

Zubaru will be popular here after two good recent wins, but the better value might sit with last year’s winner of the race – Drifts Away.

This 5yold has only been out three times since take this (no wins), but has been freshened up with  273 days off and you feel this would have been the target again.

Up 4lbs from last year but got the job done by 2 lengths that day and the booking of Billy Loughnane today also gives a positive vibe.

Hopefully this T J Kent runner can ‘drift away’ from his rivals again.

4:45 Ripon: SOMETHING

Another repeat winner that is back out today is this Liam Bailey runner, who took this race by 2 1/4 lengths 12 months ago.

Is back today rated 2lbs lower too and heads here off the back of some fair runs – including a third at Donny last month.

Has also been running in slightly better races than this, so the ease back into a Class 5 will help, with his last runs at this level reading 1-1-2.

8:20 Sandown: DARZAH

Today’s final each way horse racing tip comes in the last at Sandown tonight – in a race with many chances.

But this William Haggas runner, who is having his handicap debut today, stands out after a good win last time at Bath.

That came in a Novice Stakes race over 1m and an opening mark of 78 doesn’t look too bad based on that.

Yes, we don’t know a lot about that form, with the others in behind yet to run – but what we do know is the Haggas camp boast a solid 22% SR with their runners here at Sandown.
