Looks the likely jolly here and so will have every chance, but also looks a tad short in the betting to me, so there is little downside here.
Last seen running 4th at Aintree earlier this month over the sticks and won the time before that at Uttoxeter.
But is back on the flat today on a mark that is 7lbs higher than when last winning on the level.
Yes, he’s a course winner too but that was off 13lbs lower and William Pyle could also claim 3lbs when this horse last won – he can’t today.
In short, he’s got every chance at a track we know suits, but would also need a career-best on the level to land this.
