Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
1:45 Curragh SUN GODDESS (NAP)
Flew home at the Naas on debut – losing out by a head to stablemate Carry The Flag.
So with that experience and the step up from 5f to 6f here sure to suit – it will be a shock if Sun Goddess isn’t shining here for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:15 Curragh GREAT BARRIER REEF
Another of the big Ballydoyle talking horses this season – and backed that hype up on debut here over CD last month.
As a result shot to the head of the betting for the Coventry and Norfolk Stakes and is expected to enhance his Royal Ascot claims here.
Maybe you can back Great Barrier Reef with ‘Coral’!
2:22 Uttoxeter FIRST CANDIDATE
Not a bad £8k pot on the table here but not the deepest of races, with the big chunk of the market being taken up by the Dan Skelton runner First Candidate.
A winner last time out at Haydock by an easy 9 1/2 lengths and a 6lb hike for that looks fair.
Connections have given her 50 days to get over that race and so Candidate should really be coming home ‘first’ again here.
2:28 Kelso CHEMISTRY
This Jennie Candlish runner won well at Sedgefield on his hurdles debut and then wasn’t disgraced in the Chester Cup (9th) after running well for a long way.
Back over the sticks here and in a race that doesn’t look the best will give Chemistry a great chance of making it 2-2 over hurdles.
