Andy Newton’s Lay Of The Day Horse Racing Tip: SATURDAY 23rd May 2026

4:57 Windsor: MOONHILL LASS

Heads here on a three-timer after wins at Yarmouth and Salisbury.

But is up another 8lbs here and also up from 0-60 to 0-65, so slightly more needed.

This also look a lot more competitive than the last race she won – going in at 1/2 – and that was also an amateur riders’ race, so the form can often be taken with a pinch of salt.

I’ll take something else to eclipse Moonhill Lass here.

Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
