Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
3:18 Bath JAAN KI TUKRI (NAP)
The unraced Wathnan runner Flight Signal is, of course, feared, but I’m happy to side with the experience edge here with the twice-raced Jaan Ki Tukri.
This Kodiac colt has taken a bronze and silver in his opening two starts – but ran a bit green on debut and last time ran in a fair-looking race (2nd).
The form of that contest has since been franked with the 3rd, 5th and even the 6th all coming out and winning next time.
While the final plus for me is the SR of the Clive Cox team here at Bath – the boast a cracking 42% SR with their youngsters here.
And also won this race in 2021 and have been in fair form in the last two weeks, with 5 winners in the last 14 days.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:43 Bath SUPPLICATE (NB)
The next Lucky 15 horse racing tip for the ‘muggy favs acca’ is this Roger Varian entry – who was a nice winner at Lingfield back in December.
Before that she ran the promising Prizeland to 4 1/2 lengths on debut at Kempton.
While the form of that last run has also been boosted since with 2nd, 3rd and 6th all winning races since.
6:20 Pontefract NAVAL LIGHT
This Wathnan Racing runner is somehow still a maiden after six runs but connections look to have found a good race for him to finally break his duck.
He was 8th (beaten only 5 3/4 lengths) to Charles Darwin in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot last June.
And has since returned after being gelded this season to run two fair races at Donny and HQ in better contests than this.
The useful Jack Nicholls has also been booked to ride to take off 5lbs and so hopefully Naval Light can sail home in front for the first time today.
8:11 Worcester ICE JET
This Skelton runner was picked up on this page 10 days ago when bolting up at Hereford.
He’s since added to that win with another facile success at Huntingdon on Tuesday and despite now having a 14lb penalty from that first win can land the quick three-timer.
This grey has travelled and jumped well in his races and clearly loves the better ground that he’s been getting at these summer jumps cards.
Harry Skelton, who has been on the last twice too, keeps the ride and even though he’s got a double penalty is still 5lbs well-in here.
Ice Jet can freeze out the rest for a third time this month.
