Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Friday 15th May, 2026

5:30 Hamilton: THORNABY PEARL

This Adrian Nicholls runner was a CD winner last August and despite not winning since has dropped back to that same winning mark.

Jack Nicholls also claims a handy 3lbs and a run at the end of March after 6 months off should have him spot on.

The yard also boast a cracking 33% SR with their 4+ yolds here, which is a further plus.

I’ll take Pearl to ‘drop’ in here.

6:10 Newbury: AMANCIO

Won this race last year and is back for more rated just 4lbs higher.

But that is offset (and more) with the 7lb claimer Donagh Murphy riding.

And despite not running since December (hurdles) has gone okay fresh in the past.

You feel this has been the target again and conditions are exactly the same as last year.

6:20 Aintree: SMOKERINGINTHEDARK

Last seen running second at Haydock last month.

However, I think that was a solid effort – having also won the time before at Newcastle.

Up another 3lbs from that last run makes life harder.

But I feel the drop back in trip (from 3m) will help and the Nicky Richards yard could not be in much better form.

Heading into today with 4 winners from their last 7.

Danny McMenamin rides, so I’m happy to side with Smokeringinthedark to burn his rivals away.

8:25 Hamilton: PICTURE PALACE

Just the three runs for this Crisford entry, but is into a handicap for the first time today and that will help.

Returned from being gelded the last day to run a fair-looking sort Princling to 2 1/2 lengths at Wetherby – having led for much of the way.

Jack Nicholls also takes off a handy 5lbs and the stable do well here at the track with their limited runners. With 2 winners from their last 5 (40%) sent to post.

Picture Palace is the final of the each-way horse racing tips today.
