This Eddie & Patrick Harty runner has won the last two runnings of this 6 1/2f handicap and so this has clearly been the target again.
Is also back rated 4lbs lower than 2025 and blew away the cobwebs after 5 months off with a fair 5th at Navan at the end of March.
He’s taken to land the three-timer in a race we know he loves.
3:35 Newmarket: THE PRETTIEST STAR
Precise will be all the rage for the Aidan O’Brien camp here, but she’s little value and there have been some small reports of some setbacks.
So a chance is taken on this Ed Walker runner, who was 2nd to the useful Zanthos in the Rockfell Stakes here last September.
That form looks decent to me and the way she finished the race (7f) suggests this step up in trip will be a plus.
At around 12/1 she looks a top e/w play – so I’ll take The Prettiest Star to shine with Kieran Shoemark doing the steering.
4:15 Cork: KALIR
The final of today’s free horse racing each-way tips comes at Cork in a 1m handicap.
This Dermot Weld-trained 3yold is into a handicap for the first time after three runs in maidens.
He fared better the last day at Dundalk, when a close third and so seems to be going the right way.
An opening mark of 78 looks fair and the Weld team often do well here at Cork – boasting a 24% SR with their 3yolds.
