Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips

4:55 Yarmouth: MISTER MOJITO

Last seen running at Chelmsford back in October (4th).

Dropped a pound for that run – taking him back to his last winning rating, plus has a wind op since too.

Likes it here at Yarmouth too (2-2 over this CD) and the Kent team boast a solid 26% SR with their runners at this seaside venue.

I’ll take Mister Mojito to land the drinks money.

7:12 Ffos Las: LANCIER DES OBEAUX

I think a small play on this 5yold today is worth it – mainly as the Laura Horsfall team have done well here at the track in the past.

Yes, their runner here hasn’t set the world alight as yet, but has only had four career starts.

But is into a handicap for the first time today, which will help and also sports the first-time tongue-tie.

8:30 Wolverhampton: KARAKULA

Just the six runners here, so only two places on offer for the traditional e/w terms – but you can shop around for more places if you wanted.

But I think this James Ferguson runner is worth an interest being a proven CD winner here and is back only a pound higher than her last win.

Her best runs have also come here at Wolves and it’s hard to knock the Ferguson 41% SR with their 4+yolds at this course.

Worth Knowing Today

  • Trainer Christian Williams is ONLY 1-50 (2%) with his hurdlers at Ffos Las
  • Trainer Tim Easterby is just 2-72 in the last 14 days
  • 1:42 Pontefract: 9 of the last 10 winners came from stalls 1 to 4 (inc)

Today’s Longest Travellers

  • 3:10 Yarmouth: JOYFUL LAWYER (242 miles), Karl Burke

Andy Newton’s Lay Of The Day

6:00 Wolverhampton: EM FOUR

Third last time at Leicester just 8 days ago and gets in here off the same mark (74).

But is still 2lbs higher that his last win (3 runs ago) and all five career wins have come off slightly lower marks too.

I’m also not 100% sure today’s drop back to 5f is a plus – with all his career successes coming over 6f.

At the prices I’m happy to look elsewhere for the winner.

Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
