Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip
6:15 Musselburgh ALTHER WALDEN (NAP)
This George Scott runner has won his last two and I think looks to have a great chance of landing the three-timer.
Is up to 2m this time – having won over 1m4f recently – but was staying on well both times to suggest this step up in trip is within range and could even eke out more.
Bred in Hungary, this 4yold has shown a good ‘appetite’ for winning and is the call to go in again.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:30 Wetherby PRINCLING (NB)
Second on both starts to date but hasn’t been disgraced in defeat.
Notably when taking silver at HQ last October as that race looked hot with many horses franking the form since.
Including the winner Yazin, who was an easy winner at Southwell for us in midweek.
Haggas also won this race last year.
Princling can finally crown a win today.
3:00 Wetherby SEA THE STORM
Another William Haggas horse that should be winning today – formerly with David Menuisier.
In fact, the yard have the first two in the market (Pieran too(), but Tom Marquand prefers to ride this Sea The Stars filly.
She was a good winner on debut at Sandown in September and ran a fine 2nd in a German Group 3.
Sea should really be ‘storming’ home here.
4:55 Nottingham SEE THE FIRE
This useful Andrew Balding filly landed the Middleton Stakes (G2) last season and on that form – it goes without saying, I think she’ll be hard to beat.
She has seen run with credit in many Group One races – including a 3rd to Ombudsman at Royal Ascot in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes.
Returns this season in a Listed race and has 14lbs in-hand on her nearest rival.
So, based on that See The Fire should be way too hot for this lot.
