Heads here in rude form too, after an easy 20-length success at Sedgefield 3 weeks ago.
Yes, up in grade and up 6lbs, but that looks a fair rise to me.
Plus, having won over 3m2f there is every reason to suggest he’ll stay this slightly longer trip.
Hopefully we can find some treasure with Stratagem today.
2:15 DONCASTER: ONEMORENOMORE
Won this race two years ago and catches my eye as he’s back rated 7lbs lower this time.
Has run well here at Donny several times since and Cieren Fallon riding this Phil McBride runner for the first time also stands out.
He won from stall 12 in 2024 and has been handed 11 today.
2:40 PERTH: WA WA
Another past winner of a race today back for more is this Olly Murphy entry – who is now aged 11.
But is back rated 110, which is the same mark as when taking this prize 12 months ago.
You feel this would have been the target again and Lewis Saunders, who rode last year, is also riding.
Wa Wa could go Win Win.
5:00 PERTH: KAP DE TRIOMPHE
The last of today’s each-way betting tip also comes at Perth, with this Christian Williams runner worthy of an interest.
I was impressed with his win at Plumpton two runs back. Winning by 5 1/2 lengths.
And even though he couldn’t follow-up next time at Warwick, that race came only 10 days later and probably too soon.
Plus it was also over fences.
Has been given 29 day off since and back over the smaller obstacles I think will see him much more competitive today.
With the added plus the good SR of the Williams yard up at Perth – heading into today with a 35% return.
