3:12 PERTH: HE KNOWS BETTER
Won at Southwell two runs back but failed to follow-up at Newbury next time – as a beaten favourite off a 5lb higher mark.
Is back today off that same rating and also up to 3m, with that recent win coming over 2m4 1/2f.
Has won on good ground in the past so the better conditions will be fine and with only 13 runs could have more to come.
But I just feel at the prices, he’s worth taking on – based on the step up in trip and also still having a bit to prove off this higher mark for me.
Note: Some picks can drift during the day (obviously we have no control of that) – but I’d say if they hit 8.0+ they are prob best left (for obvious reasons).
