Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip
4:57 SOUTHWELL YAZIN
Looks a two-horse shoot-out between the pick and the Godolphin runner Golden View.
Both will have backers and both are the sole rides on the card for Buick and Moore.
However, I feel the Ryan Moore-ridden Yazin just edges it, having won a hot novice last time at HQ.
The form of that race has been boosted many times since with a stack of horses in-behind winning in their next races.
Breeding also suggests the step up in trip today to 1m will suit (from 7f) and this New Bay colt has also had a wind op over the winter.
With the Gosden yard in good form at present too, I’ll me hoping Ryan’s mount will have ‘Moore’ than Buicks.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
2:52 BEVERLEY I’M NEXT
The Tim Easterby yard are only in average form at the moment, but I think they could be improving these stats today with I’m Next.
This 4yold was only just collared late on here the last day in a better class race than this and gets in off the same mark.
Draw 8 is just about okay as I expect him to break well again today and with that last run also his first for 6 months can be expected to have come on for it too.
3:30 WARWICK SERVICE MINIMUM
This Skelton mare landed the odds for us at Bangor at the end of March – winning with a bit up her sleeve.
She’s back in a better race today, having also been hiked up 11lbs for that win.
But you feel this race was the plan for her from the shrewd Skelton camp and I also feel the longer trip can also eke out more.
Service could easily take this with the ‘minimum’ of fuss.
7:00 SOUTHWELL RASPOUTINE
Looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott runner that could run up a sequence of wins.
Won with a bit up his sleeve the last day at Lingfield on his debut run on the AW – bolting up by 3 1/2 lengths.
Up 6lbs for that win looks fair and no reason why the switch to Southwell won’t suit.
