Horse Racing NAP Of The Day Tip

3:30 Kelso: WOLFBURG (NAP)

Like most, I was impressed with the way this Sandy Thomson runner stayed on the last day at Carlisle to win by an easy 9-lengths.

Yes, has been hammered by the handicapper as a result (up 11lbs), but that was only his fifth run over fences so I feel there should be more to come.

He’s also up in trip today, which I expect to eke out more and jockey Patrick Wadge retains the partnership. I’ll take Wolfburg to howl home and defy his rise in the handicap.

Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips

2:42 Redcar: WORLINGTON

This George Boughley runner caught my eye the last day at Wolves – when a fair second.

That was his first run back for 3 ½ months and also his first since being gelded so we can expect another step forward this afternoon.

3:51 Lingfield: GOLDEN BROWN (NB)

Yet to score from 7 starts, but he sets the standard on his second in the Listed Redcar 2yold Trophy last October, behind the useful Ardisia.

Has had another winter on his back to strengthen up and even though the lesser exposed Behike provides a threat, I think ‘Brown’ can be ‘Golden’ today.

5:00 Kelso: BOLEY BOB

From the Barton Snow yard of J J O’Shea, and will be ridden by double Foxhunter hero Henry Crow too.

Heads here having won his last four points in easy fashion and if translating that form to today’s Hunter Chase I feel will be very hard to beat. Phantoms Cave looks the one to give him most to think about.
