This weekend there are EIGHT live ITV races to take in across two venues – Doncaster and Kempton.
You can see Andy Newton’s ITV Racing tips and 1-2-3 best bets for all the LIVE races this weekend.
Plus THREE key stats to take into each race.
With Saturday marking the start of the new UK Flat season at Doncaster – we get going with the traditional curtain raiser the Brocklesby Stakes.
Which, this year, is run in memory of six-time winner of the race Bill Turner.

Doncaster Horse Racing Tips: Eternal To Be The Lincoln Force, But Last Year’s 5th Feared
1:20 Doncaster – William Hill Bill Turner Memorial EBF Brocklesby Stakes Cl2 (2yo) 5f ITV
We are all stabbing in the dark here, with all 15 runners having their debut runs.
But the betting suggests the Robson De Aguiar runner BLIXEN FORCE is well-forward and looks the play if you are wanting a wager.
He’s also sired by Persian Force, who won this race in 2022 and with Rowan Scott riding looks the main play of the two Amo Racing ones (Ocean Club).
The Hannon yard have won 2 of the last 4 and run A Bear Affair. While the Dylan Cunha camp took this last year and have Step To Glory.
🥇BLIXEN FORCE
🥈STEP TO GLORY
🥉A BEAR AFFAIR
KEY STATS 📈
- Trainer Richard Hannon has won 2 of the last 4
- 7 of the last 8 winners between stalls 5-11 (inc)
- 11/18 – Foaled in Feb or March
1:50 Doncaster – William Hill Price Boosts Every Day Cammidge Trophy Stakes (Listed Race) Cl1 (3yo+) 6f ITV
We’ve the last two winners of this race – Spycatcher and Montassib – back for more. However, both are now 8 and 20 of the last 21 winners of this were aged 7 or younger.
The last 8 winners also all came from stalls 3-9, so a chance is taken on the Clive Cox runner JASOUR from gate 8.
He’s back from a 259 break, but was running in better races than this last season. Notably when only beaten 2 3/4 lengths in the July Cup at Newmarket (watch below).
This 5yold has gone well fresh in the past too and the yard have been amongst the winners of late.
Of the rest, Cadburn could be overpriced, while James’s Delight was 5th in the race last year and noted too – also for the Cox camp.
🥇JASOUR
🥈JAMES’S DELIGHT
🥉CADBURN
KEY STATS 📈
- 20/21 – Aged 7 or younger
- No winners from stalls 1 or 2 in the last 16 runnings
- The last 8 winners between stalls 3-9
2:25 Doncaster – William Hill Epic Boosts Spring Mile Handicap Cl2 (4yo+) 1m ITV
Another tough contest to unravel, so stakes to a minimum.
Mezcala is shortlisted back in trip after not looking to stay last time over 1m1f at HQ.
But PRINCIPALITY gets the tentative nod, for the in-form Harry Eustace yard, who are 29% with their 4+ year-olds here.
Was 5th last time at Newmarket but won his battle on the far side that day and won off this mark (88) at Goodwood back in July.
Of the rest, the Kevin Ryan Cadarn could outrun his odds having gone well fresh before.
But did run 4th to Dubai Beach last time and that horse has since won a Group Two.
🥇PRINCIPALITY
🥈MEZCALA
🥉CADARN
KEY STATS 📈
- ALL of the last 10 winners aged 4 or 5
- 3/23 – Winning favourites (none in the last 11 runnings)
- 18/23 – Finished fourth or worse last time out
2:57 Doncaster – William Hill Doncaster Mile Stakes (Listed Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 1m ITV
A shame just the five runners here and really on form the 6yold Docklands should be winning this.
But there are also some reasons to take this Harry Eustace runner on with.
Like this being his first run here at Donny, Jamie Spencer riding for the first time and ALL of the last 10 winners of this race aged 5 or younger.
He’s also run okay fresh in the past but not had the best win record – with a string of seconds.
So, a chance is taken on last season’s shock Sussex Stakes winner QIRAT at the prices.
His record off a break is okay 3-1-2.
Oh, and did have Docklands behind (5th) in his famous Goodwood win last summer and only has 4lbs to find with Docklands on these terms (watch below).
Excellent Believe and Volterra also run, but the only CD winner in the field Treble Tee will have this has a plus and can take the bronze for the Crisfords.
🥇QIRAT
🥈DOCKLANDS
🥉TREBLE TEE
KEY STATS 📈
- 11/12 – Aged 4 or 5 years-old
- 6/12 – Winners from stalls 2 or 4
- 7/12 – Winning favourites
3:32 Doncaster – William Hill Lincoln (Heritage Handicap) Cl2 (4yo+) 1m ITV
This could be another good race for the Harry Eustace yard with La Botte, who many feel has been plotted up for this race after an ‘interesting’ run the last day at Wolves.
But I still think the winner of that Lincoln Trial The Lost King is one to note as the season goes on (not running here).
La Botte could be a Listed or Group runner in a handicap here, But he’s still got to lump 9-12 and in the last 39 runnings the Lincoln trends tell us only one winner carried 9-10 or more.
So, I’ll take the William Haggas runner ETERNAL FORCE to add to his top record in the race. He’s won this pot five times.
This 4yold heads here on a four-timer and despite being up 8lbs for his last win at Haydock (Oct). That form looks okay with the 2nd and 3rd winning since.
Draw 6 is fine and Cieren Fallon, who won the race for Haggas last season, gets the ride.
Of the rest, last season’s 5th GALERON is also noted for the Charles Hills yard (watch his race last year below).
He carried 9-12 last year and only had 9-3 this time with Jack Callan taking off 5lbs.
Draw 7 is no bother too (11 last year) and has a good overall record here at Donny 5-3-2.
🥇ETERNAL FORCE
🥈GALERON
🥉LA BOTTE
KEY STATS 📈
- Just 1 winner has carried 9-10 in the last 39 runnings
- 9 of the last 11 winners aged 4 or 5
- 18/22 – Had won between 2-4 times before
Kempton Horse Racing Tips: Survie To ‘Serve It Up’ In Snowdrop Stakes
2:08 Kempton (AW) – Virgin Bet Queen’s Prize Handicap (London Stayers’ Series Qualifier) (Gbbplus Race) Cl2 (4yo+ 0-100) 2m ITV
The Andrew Balding yard are going well at the moment and run Belgravian here. While the Charlie Johnston team won this in 2025 and try again with Align The Stars
But the pick is ANNIVERSARY to land the pot on his first run of the season for trainer Ralph Beckett.
He was 5th last month at Lingfield, which was his first run for 8 months so will be better for it.
Connections have also booked Jack Dace to take off 5lbs this time and with only six career runs should have more to come.
🥇ANNIVERSARY
🥈ALIGN THE STARS
🥉BELGRAVIAN
KEY STATS 📈
- 13/14 – Won no more than 5 times
- 11/14 – Didn’t win last time out
- 1/14 – Winning favourites
2:42 Kempton (AW) – Virgin Bet A Good Bet Rosebery Handicap (London Middle Distance Series Qualifier) (Gbbplus Race) Cl2 (4yo+ 0-105) 1m3f ITV
Recent winners Respond and El Burhan will be popular here. As will the Gosden runner Gamrai and in-form CD winner Whitcombe Rockstar.
But back on the AW the one I like is MARHABA GHAIYYATH for the Charlie Johnston team.
This 4yold was 19th in the Cambridgeshire last time back in October, but does seem to be better on the AW, where he’s run 3 times (2 wins and a 2nd).
Charlie’s dad Mark used to like this race (if memory serves me) and with a freshen up and draw 3 looking fine, this Jaber Abdullah gelding gets the nod.
Of the rest, Winter Derby third MILITARY ACADEMY is noted too back into a handicap. With connections also putting up a 7lb claimer to help with his big weight.
🥇MARHABA GHAIYYATH
🥈MILITARY ACADEMY
🥉RESPOND
KEY STATS 📈
- Last 5 winners carried 9-1 or more
- 4/21 – Winning favourites
- The last 3 winners all came from stall 6
3:13 Kempton (AW) – Virgin Bet Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes (Listed Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 1m ITV
Catherdal is classy on her day but with no win in seven that’s the worry for me.
Pina Sonata, who my pal Peter Michael had trouble pronouncing on this week’s The Final Furlong Podcast can’t be ruled out either.
While Glittering Surf likes it here at Kempton (2-2) and could sneak a place.
But the one with the form in the SURVIE, who was a nice winner of the Winter Derby Trial at Lingfield at the end of January.
He’s since run a decent third in a G1 in Saudi behind the classy Royal Champion and slipping back to Listed level will make him hard to beat.
Billy Loughnane takes over from Ryan Moore, who is in action at the Curragh.
🥇SURVIE
🥈GLITTERING SURF
🥉PINA SONATA
KEY STATS 📈
- The last 12 winners returned 9/2 or shorter
- 7 of the last 10 winners from stalls 3-6
- 7 of the last 16 favourites have won
