ITV Racing – This Week’s Live Meetings (21st March 2026) 📺
After the carnage of the Cheltenham Festival last week, the ITV Racing coverage moves down several notches this week.
We’ve just one day of action on the ‘free-to-air’ channel – which comes on Saturday 21st March 2026.
With the ITV Racing action coming from Bangor, Kelso and Newbury this weekend.
At Newbury there are four races on the ITV Racing network.
While at Kelso there are three races being shown – including the Go North Cab On Target Series Final Handicap Hurdle (1:30pm).
There is also expected to be one race shown from the Welsh track at Bangor (TBC).
Is The Opening Show On ITV Racing This Saturday? 📺
Yes. The Opening Show airs at 9:30am on Saturday 21st March and will be broadcast on ITV.
This week’s programme comes live from Newbury with Leonna Mayor hosting the build-up to the afternoon’s action.

What Is The ITV Racing 7?
The ITV 7 is a free-to-enter weekly competition run during the live broadcast.
Viewers are challenged to select the winners of seven featured races — usually those shown live on the programme — for the chance to win a substantial cash prize.
The History Of ITV Racing 📜
UK terrestrial racing coverage was previously shared between the BBC and Channel 4.
That changed in January 2016 when Channel 4 lost the broadcasting rights after more than three decades.
ITV Racing officially launched in January 2017 and remains the UK’s only free-to-air television broadcaster dedicated to horse racing coverage.
Channel 4’s final day covering the sport came on 27th December 2016, featuring the Christmas meeting from Kempton Park and the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow.
