Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Thursday 30th July, 2026)
4:20 Nottingham – SIXTY PLUS (NAP)
This James Owen runner has been in sparkling form of late – winning as he liked at Thirsk and Lingfield.
Up just 5lbs for the last of those wins, but that was by 6 lengths.
Despite the big weight (10-6) unless these quick runs catch up with him, Sixty Plus should be landing the flat three-timer.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Thursday 30th July, 2026)
2:00 Nottingham – FUNKY DORY
Just the two runners here and the market is saying they are hard to split.
Roots In Touche has the experience edge with two runs, but she’s hardly set the world alight.
So I’ll take a chance on the Karl Burke newcomer Funky Dory being good enough at the first try.
Clifford Lee rides too, which adds further confidence.
5:20 Goodwood – SO LOVELY (NB)
The O’Brien yard have won this maiden a few times since 2016 and look set to do so again.
They run this well-bred Wootton Bassett colt filly, who was second at Leopardstown 2 weeks ago.
That came over a mile so we know she’ll stay this 7f trip well and it goes without saying with the expected improvement there will be a lot more to come.
Ryan Moore rides.
6:40 Epsom – IMPERIAL CULT
The George Baker yard look to have found a good opportunity for this 7yold to win again.
He’s heading here having won 3 of this last 4 and gets in here off the same mark as last time (67).
That came over 1m2f, but has won recently over this 1m4f trip, so stepping up will be fine.
Plus despite being 0-4 in recent runs here at Epsom is a past winner at the Surrey track, so no issues on that score either.
