Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips Today: Tuesday 28th July, 2026

1:50 Goodwood: QUAI DE BETHUNE

Royal Ascot winner last season when taking the Golden Gates and has only been seen twice since.

Returned at Epsom with a fair run – travelling well when fitness and a lack of a recent run took it’s toll in the final stages.

Then last time at York in the John Smith’s Cup, we didn’t get the best of runs up the inside rail.

Has been dropped 3lbs for those runs and should be fitter for them now – is only 4lbs higher than his Ascot win now.

James Doyle is back in the saddle too and looks a fair e/w option in a very open first Goodwood race today.

3:00 Goodwood: QIRAT

Shock winner of the Sussex Stakes last season at 150/1 and has a bit to find with the 119-rated Lake Forest.

However, Qirat seems to be a better horse here at Goodwood, where he’s 3-3 and unbeaten.

He also comes here in winning form after a decent success in the Criterion Stakes at York at the end of last month.

That came in the first-time tongue-tie, which is on today again.

I’ll take Qirat to remain unbeaten at his beloved Goodwood.

4:10 Goodwood: SEVEN QUESTIONS

Rapper’s Delight is noted too for the Richard Spencer yard that have a stack in here.

As is the 2024 winner Tattersall.

But a chance is taken on the CD winner Seven Questions, who won here three starts ago.

Has since had excuses on soft ground and on the AW, but is back at Goodwood rated only a pound higher than that win.

Expect him to come late, but will have Jamie Spencer on his back again today, who also rode him to that last success.

7:45 Galway: ALMEIYDA

This Galway race has been a good one for trainer Dermot Weld in recent times – winning 3 of the last 10.

He’s got another fair-looking chance today too with this Aga Khan filly, who caught the eye in second last time.

That came over 7 1/2f at Roscommon at the end of June, but after just running out of petrol the slight ease in trip here (7f) will suit.

Chris Hayes, who won this race in 2023 for Weld, gets the leg-up.
