Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Saturday 18th July, 2026)
2:15 Curragh ONE LOOK (NAP)
James Doyle has some big rides today at the Curragh – including Earth Shot in the Irish Oaks.
He’s also got a leading fancy here with One Look, who ran a blinder the last day in a better race – when second to Estrange in the G1 Pretty Polly Stakes here.
Back into a Group 3 today will make life easier and he actually won this race 12 months ago, so we know this would have been the target again today.
Recently when dipping down into G3 races she’s been 2-1-1, and heads here as the clear top-rated off 111 – which makes her 5lbs clear of the next best (Nyra).
One Look looks all set to ‘eye-up’ another win in this race.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Saturday 18th July, 2026)
1:35 Market Rasen LORIKO
The Skelton yard continue to fly along nicely over the summer months in their bid to head into the main NH season with a massive head-start.
This 5yold has been involved in that too, with some nice wins at Huntingdon and Uttoxeter.
He carries a double penalty of those successes and has had a wind op since his last win, but has been winning with a bit up his sleeve to suggest he’s the one to stick with.
Harry Skelton rides.
4:12 Newbury MISS SCOTT
The Gosden yard are in flying form at the moment – heading into today on a 50% SR in the last 14 days (9-18).
They are take to carry on that good run here with Miss Scott, who meets Manaar again after finishing second to her here last time out.
There was only 1/2 length between the two that day, but the pick is 7lbs better off this time now racing off level weights.
William Buick is also riding well at the moment and so I’ll side with Miss Scott to turn the tables on the Haggas runner.
5:30 Cartmel PASSENGERONTHESHIP (NB)
Has a string of firsts next to his name – coming here having won his last five.
Up another 5lbs for his latest win, which came here at Cartmel – but that was by 2 3/4 lengths and so should be able to deal with the extra rise.
Is now 5-7 over fences too and with most of the others having some questions to answer this Sam England-trained 7yold.
Passengerontheship can sail home again.
