Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips Today: Saturday 18th July, 2026

2:45 Market Rasen: SOUL ICON

Was a close second in this race in 2024 and is back for more rated just 4lbs higher.

The plus though is Harry Cobden is back in the saddle today and he’s the only rider to win on this horse over fences.

That came in a G2 Chase at Kempton over Christmas 2024, while Cobden also loves this race – winning the last THREE renewals.

Trainer Keiran Burke reports Soul Icon in good order too, so everything looks in place for a big effort.

3:15 Ripon: SPIORALDALTA

This Mark Walford runner simply loves Ripon – winning his last four outings here at the Garden Course.

He’s also never been out of the first four from his total 8 runs here.

Yes, his recent runs here have been over 1m2f and is up to 1m 4f today, but has run okay over this longer trip in the past.

While in his defence has only tried it twice.

I’ll take Spioraldalta to carry on his love affair with Ripon.

4:05 Market Rasen: DREAM JET

Out of form in recent runs, but as a result has dropped to a mark below 100 (99) and having won off 106 last May, is starting to look well-handicapped again.

The drop back in trip will help too and this Brian Ellison runner also has history in this race – winning the pot in 2024.

He’s back rated 7lbs higher, but – as mentioned – has won off 7lbs higher in the past.

Dream Jet needs to bounce back, but in a race we know he’s gone well in before, could easily ‘take-off’ again.

4:17 Newmarket: DASHING DICK

Another horse that has history in the race he’s running in today – winning this a few years ago too (2024).

He’s back rated a pound lower this time, but has also won since off 2lbs higher than today’s rating.

Two recent runs here on the July course (3rd & 6th) have been fair efforts and is down a pound from those efforts.

Cieren Fallon takes over in the place and so it would be no shock to see Dick ‘Dashing’ home in this race once more.
