5:05 Salisbury RORY ROCKET
The Moore camp are in flying form at the moment and they seem to have another big chance of landing another winner here.
Bolted up at Brighton earlier in the week to give the yard a three-timer at the seaside track and is back quickly just 4 days later.
Has a 5lb penalty for that win and the jockey (Jude Fernandes) can’t claim 7lbs this time, but seemed to have a fair bit left under the bonnet.
So Rory can hopefully Rocket home again for the Moores and land the three-timer.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Saturday 11th July, 2026)
1:35 Chester DREAM VEGA
I thought this Ed Walker filly showed some nice battling qualities the last day at Doncaster – despite coming second.
The first two pulled a bit clear of the others that day and with that only her second career run there should be a fair bit of improvement to come.
Draw 2 is ideal here on the Roodee and Ashley Lewis takes off a handy 5lbs.
Dream Vega should be running the others to sleep here.
2:27 Ascot MORE THUNDER
This high-class miler has been a tad frustrating – and on the round course her there is a small worry that his hold-up style won’t be as suited.
But was will an excellent 2nd in the Queen Anne Stakes last time and came alive around this time last year with wins in the Bunbury Cup on this day at HQ, then at Newbury in August.
He’s the top-rated by 2lbs as well and after two seconds here at Ascot is taken to finally break his duck at the Berkshire venue.
More Thunder can cause a storm.
2:39 York CERULEAN BAY
Was a non-runner last weekend when many of us on the Final Furlong Podcast fancied him – but is back out today.
Runs in a race the O’Meara yard like to win too – taking this pot 5 times in the last 14 runnings.
Yes, 10-2 makes life hard but he’s one of only three horses in the field rated 100+ and heads here off some big races in defeat.
Notably when 5th in the Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot last time.
While his last two runs here at York have been solid 2nds – everything points to a big run.
