ITV Racing: This Week’s Live Meetings (29th June – 5th July 2026)
ITV Racing Schedule Today
This week’s ITV Racing schedule is a busy one, with live coverage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The headline act is the three-day Newmarket July Festival, with the ITV cameras at Headquarters throughout the meeting to bring viewers all the biggest races.
Thursday’s action features the Group Two July Stakes and the Princess of Wales’s Stakes, before attention turns to Friday’s Group One Falmouth Stakes.
Then, on Saturday, the spotlight falls on the Group One July Cup, where Royal Ascot winner Venetian Sun is set to be one of the main attractions.
Alongside the three days at Newmarket, ITV Racing will also be showing action from Doncaster on Thursday, York on Friday and Saturday, and Ascot on Saturday.
All told, the ITV Racing team will bring viewers a packed schedule of 24 races across the week.

The History Of ITV Racing
UK terrestrial racing coverage was previously shared between the BBC and Channel 4.
That changed in January 2016 when Channel 4 lost the broadcasting rights after more than three decades.
ITV Racing officially launched in January 2017 and remains the UK’s only free-to-air television broadcaster dedicated to horse racing coverage.
Channel 4’s final day covering the sport came on 27th December 2016, featuring the Christmas meeting from Kempton Park and the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow.
