Today’s Free Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Monday 6th July, 2026

3:00 Ayr: CONDOTTI

This Hugo Palmer runner seems to be running into form after an improved 3rd at Hamilton last time.

Gets in here off the same mark (60) and having kept on well over 1m 1/2f last time, the step up to 1m2f will suit.

The last five winners came from stalls 5-8 too, so gate 6 looks ideal. Oh, in fact, 3 of the last 5 actually came from gate 6.

4:00 Ayr: EY UP HE’S A STAR

The Coyle/Wood yard won this race last season with a similar-named horse – Ey UpUIts Jazz – and they look to have a good chance of another ‘Ey Up’ winning.

This 4yold heads here 1-14 in his races so far, but is now only a pound higher than his sole career win and ran much better the last day when 3rd at Doncaster to Woodleigh.

Same trip today and that run also came in the first-time cheekpieces, which are on again.

I’ll take Star to shine for the same connections has last year’s winner.

4:50 Lingfield: TEMPLE OF ATHENA

This Brian Ellison runner was a close 4th at Epsom in the 3yold Dash last month and with the winner (Nanna’s Shadow) going in again – the form looks solid.

She’s off the same mark (87) and is eased from a C2 into a C4 today, which will make life a lot easier.

8:52 Ripon: LONG SHOT

Yes, not really an e/w price, but a horse I wanted to highlight today.

Mainly as the Tim Easterby yard and jockey David Allen have won 3 of the last 4.

This 3yold was only beaten a head the last day at Catterick and is up just a pound.

With only 9 career runs there should be more to come too.

Long Shot shouldn’t be living up to his name here and looks a ‘good shot’.
