Won this race last season and has travelled 328 miles to defend her crown again today.
Ran on the flat last month at Ripon on his first run back from a wind op and that was a pleasing return (2nd).
Back over hurdles today and is only 2lbs higher than when winning this 12 months ago.
Brian Hughes is a plus in the plate too and has won on her in the last as well.
I’ll take Max Of Stars to shine again in a race we know would have been a big target for her.
7:02 Beverley: HUNDRED COPS / ELEGANT ERIN
Elegant Erin is noted for the Midgley yard that have won this race three times since 2018.
She also looks to be running into form after a good third last time at Nottingham.
Yes, she’s 10 now but her last two wins have come here at Beverley and is slipping back to a fair mark.
I also think Hundred Cops might be worth a saver as the Julie Camacho often do well at Beverley (23% SR) and is a CD winner too.
He’s also down another 2lbs from this last run at Carlisle and in his four starts at this venue has done well 1-2-1-5.
8:40 Beverley: SUNNY ORANGE
Today’s final each way horse racing tip also comes at Beverley and another proven CD winner.
This 6yold won here in April off 58 and is now only a pound higher (59). But is also eased on grade (C6) after five runs in slightly better races.
This horse also has history in this race. Winning it 12 months ago from gate 6 and is back on similar terms from stall 9 this time.
