5:15 Brighton: MISS STARLET
Norcross Brow will be the main pick for many here, but is little value and so a chance is take on something at a bigger price.
This Margarson runner has been down the field in recent races but has been dropped 3lbs from last time and is now 10lbs below her opening handicap mark.
Probably didn’t like the softer ground the last day, so hopefully Brighton don’t get too much rain today.
But it’s interesting the yard won this race in 2022 and also boast a solid 31% SR overall at Brighton.
So away from the obvious play here, Miss Starlet could sparkle at a nice price.
7:30 Rosscommon: THATWILLDOSO
Over in Ireland, this 5yold mare caught my eye – having been dropped back to a mark of 72, which is also her last winning rating.
It’s also worth pointing out she won this same race 12 months ago (7lbs higher today), so another plus in my book.
Rory Cleary, who rode last year, is back in the plate too and so with this race sure to have been on the radar again, Thatwilldoso can follow-up.
7:39 Ffos Las: TONAL
Well back the last day at Yarmouth, but reported to be have liked the ground that day.
Before that ran better at Southwell and also won at Chelmsford just three runs back off 74.
Is back on the grass here on just 59 and despite being a better AW horse and 0-10 on the turf, is starting to look well-treated.
Billy Loughnane catches the eye in the saddle and the Ian Williams yard also do well at this Welsh track.
The yard boasts an overall 35% SR.
