Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Saturday 20th June, 2026
3:05 Ascot: ETHICAL DIAMOND
Breeders’ Cup Turf winner from last season and probably hasn’t got the full credit for landing that huge US race.
Is also a Royal Ascot winner, when taking last season’s Duke Of Edinburgh Handicap, plus was 4th in the 2024 running.
Goes well fresh, so the 84 day break is fine and will love the quick ground.
With the NAP Beautiful Diamond at Ayr, I’ll take another one to sparkle here.
3:40 Ascot: SATONO REVE
The will be a lot of focus on the Aussie speedster Joliestar here – but I think track experience is a plus – something Satono Reve has.
Backed up with 18 of the last 23 winners having run at the Berkshire track before.
This Japanese raider was an excellent second in this contest 12 months ago, has no Lazzat to deal with this time.
Plus also has a certain Ryan Moore in the plate.
Satono can have too many ‘Rev’s.
5:00 Ascot: TEN POUNDS
Goes without saying many many chances here – but one horse we know has done well in this in the past is Ten Pounds.
He ran third in 2025 and is back rated 3lbs lower this time.
Draw 13 is fine and will give him options and will have plenty of help in the saddle from Jamie Spencer this time.
Heads here off a top 2nd to Washington Heights in a Listed race at Carlisle and is now back into a handicap.
Ten Pounds is the call to land the Wokingham money.
5:35 Ascot: ALLEGRESSE
Sahara King is probably the main play here, but at a price this Balding runner looks worthy of a small play at a big price.
Why?
He probably hated the track (Epsom) and ground (soft) last time and before that ran much better at Goodwood, when only beaten 2 1/2 lengths.
That was only his first run back from being gelded and his first since last October.
Should be fitter this time and like the better ground.
While Balding and Murphy have won 2 of the last 6 runnings of this race, so know what’s needed.
6:10 Ascot: A PIECE OF HEAVEN
A lot of focus here will be on Illinois with Ryan Moore riding – he’s won 6 of the last 16.
While Willie Mullins has won 5 of the last 14 – he runs Le Destrier and Columbus.
But the safer bet to me looks to be Joseph O’Brien’s A Piece Of Heaven.
Comes here off a top win in the Chester Cup and the yard have had a top Royal Ascot already.
The can top that off with a ‘Piece Of Heaven’ here with Oaks winning rider Dylan Browne McMonagle doing the steering.
