Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Friday 19th June, 2026
2:15 Redcar: FRONT GUNNER
First run for the Ivan Furtado yard today after switching from the Stephen Hanlon camp.
But this one caught my eye as he won this race last year, so it’s interesting his new connections are targeting the same contest.
He’s back rated a pound lower than his last win and is only 2lbs higher than when taking this prize in 2025.
Tom Eaves also rode him here 12 months ago and has been booked again.
I’ll take Front Gunner to shoot his rivals down.
3:40 Ascot: PLAGUE DE HAVRE
I think Opportunity is noted here too and might be worth a saver.
But this Andrew Balding / Oisin Murphy one is also of interest after a decent third last time at York.
That form looks okay to me as the 6th Paddy The Squire ran an excellent third in the Copper Horse here on Tuesday.
The pick is down a pound too and with only two runs this season should be starting to come to the boil.
5:00 Ascot: ROSA INGLESA
The Charlie Fellowes yard have a fair record in this race (2 wins) and it would be great to see them land another.
This filly was a good winner up at Nottingham last time over a bit further, so we know she’ll stay well.
Yes, Oisin Murphy was on that day and is now on Glyfada – but Harry Davies takes over and he’s won on his Fellowes horse in the past too.
Draw 19 looks okay and she gets in here with just 8st 7lbs in racing weight.
6:10 Ascot: MAY ANGEL
The Gosden camp are not really famed for their sprinters these days, but I thought it was interesting they are dropping this one back from 7f to 5f here today.
She has been showing pace over further to suggest it’s worth a crack and as we know Ascot is a stiff track too.
This is only his third run back from being gelded and also sports the tongue-tie here.
Oisin Murphy is an obvious plus in the plate too and having run at Ascot last time (7f) that track experience will also help.
A tough final day four race, with the consistent Dickensian also noted, but at 20/1 May Angel is chanced to win in June.
