Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
5:08 Worcester BEORMA
The talking horse of the summer jumps scene is back out again today – having won her last four races since the 28th May.
Her latest was on Tuesday with an easy success over fences and will head here over the bigger obstacles again 2-from-2.
Up another 7lbs here, but had 6 1/2 lengths in-hand last time at Southwell and more of the same looks on the cards back up in trip.
Beorma can land the five-timer and you never know, he might even be back again tomorrow with another entry at Newton Abbot.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
4:17 Nottingham CARAWAY
This William Haggas runner got off the mark at the sixth try at Thirsk last time and despite only going in by 1/2 I like the way she did it.
She kept on well that day over 1m4, so I think the step up to 1m6f will suit and eke out more improvement.
The yard are also going great guns at the moment, with a 35% in the last 14 days, which further adds to confidence.
7:22 Catterick POWERNAP
Jockey Clifford Lee does okay riding at Catterick – with a 21% SR – and I think he can improve that here with Powernap.
She was a good second at Wetherby last time out over 5 1/2f and should benefit from the slight drop back in trip (5f).
Gets in off the same mark too (48) and has run well here at Catterick Bridge in the past.
Powernap is the call to race his rivals to sleep.
7:42 Worcester SUNRAY SHADOW
With Dan Skelton operating at 57% at the moment and brother Harry at 55%, then anything they run has to be noted.
Another big fancy for them today will be their recent course winner, who looked to have a bit more up his sleeve last time.
Up 8lbs this time but that was also his first run over fences, so I think there will be a lot more to come.
So in similar conditions, Sunray and leave the rest in his ‘Shadow’ again here.
