Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
6:20 Chepstow – POETRY OF TIME (NAP)
This Haggas runner was a nice winner at Salisbury the last day – the first race since being gelded.
Is into a handicap for the first time here on a fair mark (79) and has run well enough with give in the ground in the past too.
Cieren Fallon heads there for the ride (rode last time) and so I’ll take Poetry to find the right words.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
3:05 Doncaster – STUDY OF WORDS (NB)
William Buick is at Donny today with no Godolphin runners at Epsom.
But he should have a good chance of a winner here – despite the step up in trip an unknown.
Ran 3rd at HQ the last day over 1m2f but has been running as if the step up in distance is worth a crack.
Has gone okay on softer ground too which is a further plus.
5:05 Hexham – SUDBURY HILL
With the Harry Derham yard having a 75% SR with their hurdlers at Hexham, then this 78-rated flat performer stands out here.
Over the sticks for the first time, but is sure to be well schooled and if taking to the hurdlers should have too much pace for this lot.
7:40 Lingfield – PRINCESS MAITHA
This Owen Burrows runner has only been out once – but that was a fair 2nd on debut at Catterick.
That also came on soft ground, so conditions will be fine and Jack Callan takes off a handy 3lbs.
I’ll take Princess to be crowned on her second career start.
