Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Sunday 31st May, 2026

3:15 Listowel: DRAGON OF MALTA

A chance is taken on this P F O’Donnell runner as the yard have a decent SR here at Listowel (38%).

A recent run (8th) at Cork would have blown away the cobwebs after 6 months off and is also 2lbs lower this time.

Add in that he’s a course winner here at Listowel, then that’s a further plus.

And despite having slightly better form with give in the ground, has won on good in the past too.

Dragon Of Malta is the pick to breathe fire on his rivals.

4:25 Nottingham: DIAMONDS BAY

Diamond Bay is worth a small interest here I think, despite being beaten in his last three starts.

But is down another 3lbs here and also eased in grade from a C5 to C4.

His last win was in May 2025 off 79 and is now rated 70, so is looking very well-handicapped.

While the final plus is the 60% SR the Tom Ward yard have with their 4+yolds here at Notts.

Diamonds Bay can sparkle.

5:15 Thirsk: CABRERA

The next each way horse racing tip today comes up at Thirsk, where the Ed Bethell yard have a good SR and look to have some fair chances on the day.

Boasting a 36% SR with their 4+yolds at this track.

This runner for them here is one of those after a 6 1/4 length 4th at Newcastle last time, but is down 2lbs for that run.

Yes, her only win (from 10) came off a mark of 80 and he’s still 4lbs higher, but she’s never far away in her races and having run 5 of her last 6 races in better grades, this Class 4 level looks perfect.

Callum Rodriguez rides.

6:15 Thirsk: MINSTREL KNIGHT

Another Ed Bethell runner here and another with a fair-looking chance.

He’s hit the top three in 7 of his 11 starts on the level (3 wins) and heads here off the back of two wins over hurdles.

Ran second off 85 on the flat back in Sept 25 and is off that same mark today.

Has been freshened up with 4 months off too to prepare for a flat campaign and has gone okay off a break in the past too.
