Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
2:43 Windsor – SPACE PARTY (NAP)
The booking of Tom Marquand fore this Henry Candy runner stands out for me, while he also ran a promising third on debut at Donny last month.
That form has since been boosted with the 6th Masaban winning well.
And so with that experience under his belt and a month to get of that first run, Space Party is taken to rocket home.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
1:55 Leicester – LUNA CELESTE
Has been a bit frustrating with two silvers to her name, but hasn’t been beaten far each time and this looks easier.
Saffie Osborne would have learned a lot from riding last time at Southwell and is the call to get off the mark at the third try.
2:35 Huntingdon – KNIGHTON
Just the three runners now with a few non-runners, but this Greenall/Guerriero entry brings by far the best form to the table and is another that really should be breaking his duck today.
That last run was also his first in a handicap and is dropped two pounds, plus has had 2 months to freshen up.
Would be a shock if Knighton isn’t crowned here.
5:11 Cartmel – PONY SOPRANO (NB)
Grabbed a first career win over fences at Uttoxeter earlier this month – on his fifth start over the bigger obstacles.
Up 7lbs for that here but looked to have a bit more in-hand than the 2 3/4 length winning margin.
The Skelton team also seem to have found a good race for him to follow up and head here with a 35% SR in the last 14 days with their runners.
