Andy Newton Horse Racing: Today’s ‘NAP Of The Day’ Tip
2:30 Warwick – REBEL TRIBESMAN
This Jamie Snowden runner has been a tad frustrating since going hurdling, with two seconds.
However, with the yard still in great form (35% in the last 14 days) and Gavin Sheehan back in the plate, is taken to get his head in front here.
With the longer trip expected to suit – up to 2m3f today.
“Rebel Tribesman won a bumper at Aintree on his debut under Rules. He was a good 2nd first time over hurdles and filled the same spot last time out. He will appreciate the step up in trip, and should take all the beating.” Jamie Snowden said to FromTheStables this morning.
So hopefully we’ll see an ‘uprising’ from Rebel Tribesman today.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips
1:42 Ayr – RULER’S PRIDE
Of course a bit an unknown here, with this Karl Burke runner having his debut .
But this Wathnan Racing 2yold was a £550k breeze-up purchase and based on that you feel he should be winning at this level – despite it being his first run under rules.
Clifford Lee riding is a plus too he’s only got three others to see off.
This looks very much a stepping stone to better things, so I’ll take a chance on Pride being the Ruler here.
3:30 Warwick – FULL FORCE GALE
Another race that’s cut-up a bit after yesterday’s easy winner Jack Doyen is a non-runner.
That gives Full Force Gale a much easier task here, but might has still been hard to beat – having won well over this CD last time anyway.
Up 5lbs for that run looks fair and so over the same conditions as last time, Full Force Gale should be ‘storming’ home here.
4:50 Ffos Las – BRIDGET MARY
This Rebecca Curtis runner landed a bit of a messy race last time here, when two others still in with a chance came down late on.
But I think she’d have won anyway that day and is only been put up 2lbs.
However, that (and more) has been offset with Rian Corcoran’s 5lb claim this time.
While the final plus is the solid 20% SR over fences here at Ffos Las the Curtis camp have.
