Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Monday 18th May, 2026
2:40 Redcar: HACHIMAN
A small interest here on this Ruth Carr runner, despite being the likely outsider in the field.
Why?
Well, the yard seem to like this race – winning the pot four times since 2018.
Does need to improve a fair bit on recent runs, but is also down 5lbs more here and with only three career runs on the grass could have more to offer on the ‘green stuff’.
Tentative pick, but it’s hard to ignore the stable form in this contest – maybe it’s something to do with it being at RedCARR?
4:10 Redcar: HARSWELL RIVER
Today’s second each way horse racing tips also comes at Redcar in an average class 6 handicap.
This Roger Fell runner seems to be running into form after a second here last time out and is only up a pound from that.
Does seem to like it here at Redcar too – with her recent runs here reading 1-3-2 and having just tired over 1m the last day, then the ease back to 7f is fine.
Harswell River is the call to make a splash here.
6:40 Windsor: JAX EDGE
The Christopher Mason yard won this race in 2023 and with a solid 26% SR with their 4+yolds at Windsor I think their 6yold here is interesting.
Won here last August too over 6fm, but is also a winner over today’s 5f in her career so the drop back is okay.
Gina Mangan gets on well with her too, with 5 of his 6 career wins coming with her riding.
The final plus is the mark (74), which is a pound lower than her last winning rating.
Jax could have the ‘edge’ here.
8:00 Wolverhampton: KARAKULA
This James Ferguson runner catches the eye in one of the later races today – with Oisin Murphy booked to ride for the first time.
She is a proven CD winner, with her sole career success coming here at Wolves and also over this trip.
This 4yold is also back to that winning mark (61) and returned last month with a fair 2nd over this CD.
The Ferguson camp also boast a 39% SR with their older horses at this venue, which adds further confidence.
