Today’s Each Way Horse Racing Tips: Sunday 17th May, 2026

3:17 Ripon: BAY DREAM BELIEVER

The Mark Walford team often do okay at Ripon with their runners and so I think their runner here is worth an interest.

Yes, this 7yold has been poor in recent runs, but has been eased another 2lbs by the handicapper.

But the key is the return to Ripon – a track where 50% of his six career wins have come.

He’s also now 2lbs below his last winning mark and his last two runs should have blow away the cobwebs for this race – that you feel would have been the target.

3:56 Naas: KING CUAN

Last seen running 4th of 15 to Mission Central at Naas in a Listed contest at the end of April.

That trip is probably on the short side for him these days, so the return to 7f today is a plus for me.

The other positive is the form of the Paddy Twomey yard, who head into today having had 8 winners from their last 16 sent to post.

Yes, Expanded and Native Warrior are the main players here, but from an in-form stable King Cuan can give them something to think about.

4:15 Hamilton: DAIZEN

I was impressed with the way Red Spells Danger won last time, but he was entitled to at 1/16.

But a chance is taken on this Rebecca Menzies runner, who will be better for a recent 5th at Ponty last month.

Before that, this grey won well at Ayr and the second Starmade has since come out to win twice – franking the form.

The Menzies camp also boast a 30% SR with their 3yolds here at Hamilton to add a bit more confidence.

It’s an open affair, with at 20/1 I think this Havan Grey gelding might just out-run those odds.
