3:27 Ludlow: SUNSET BOULEVARD
After a poor time of it last season, there is a chance there are a lot of well-handicapped Venetia Williams horses floating about at the moment.
So a chance is taken on Sunset Boulevard to shine here – having been poor in his last to starts.
But this former Willie Mullins runner has had a wind op since his last outing, which came in February in December, so there is a chance he could start to find his feet.
He’s only had five career runs anyway too, so there should be more to come and this first dip into handicap company should also help him be more competitive.
The yard had a winner last week too and boast a 23% SR with their chasers here at Ludlow.
4:02 Ludlow: ZUCAYAN
This Fergal O’Brien runner won this race 12 months ago and is chanced to go well again – with this pot clearly a target again.
So we know the track and conditions will suit – and does seem to like it here at Ludlow too.
Backed up with form figures that have seen him win three times here.
In fact, all three of his career success have come at this venue.
Nick Slatter rides and takes off a handy 3lbs.
4:15 Leopardstown: PINK CORAL
This Aidan O’Brien runner was down the field on debut (5th) of nine here at Leopardstown.
However, we can expect this Wootton Bassett filly to have learned a lot from that run.
The cheekpieces are on for the first time today too, which I feel is a good sign to help her focus.
While the yard have a fair record in this race – winning to prize in 2023 and 2025, with Wayne Lordan riding both times.
