Chester Racecourse Drink Prices 2026 – How Much Is A Pint?

The Chester May Festival is one of the most popular meetings around, given they combine top quality racing with a fantastic racegoers experience.

There will be plenty of top racehorses on show, and we could see a shift in both the Epsom Derby and Epsom Oaks odds with trials taking place over the three days.

Last year’s Cheshire Oaks winner Minnie Hauk went on to win the Epsom Classic a month later.

With that in mind, punters and racegoers may be wondering what else they can get stuck into at the track.

So, how much does a pint cost? The Chester racecourse drink prices are revealed below. But please note, these are the prices from last season and they are not expected to change this year.

Chester Racecourse Drink Prices – Alcohol

There are plenty of bars at Chester Racecourse – which is the oldest racecourse in Britain.

So it won’t be hard to buy a drink – so racing fans have a wide variety to choose from when quenching their thirst.

And if you’re in the Tattersalls Enclosure, there’s even a self-serve beer section.

But if you’re looking to buy a pint of Guinness, be aware that the ‘black stuff’ wasn’t available at EVERY bar last season – although that may have changed now.

However, there is a wide range of beers and ciders to choose from. Cruzcampo, Brixton Pale Ale and Inch’s Cider are all priced at £7.95. Amstel is slightly cheaper, at £7.40 – and I can see why!
