Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips: Thursday 30th April, 2026
2:30 Punchestown: GAMEBALL
This Henry de Bromhead runner has been kept fresh for the better ground – which he’ll get today.
Last seen running 4th to Koktail Brut at Fairyhouse in a G2 Novice Hurdle in November, but before that caught my eye with wins at Ballinrobe and here at Punchestown.
So we know the track is fine and will head here fresher, with this meeting the likely target since his last run.
Also sports the first-time hood today top help him settle.
3:30 Lingfield: MINTARA
The James Evans yard have a fair SR here at Lingfield – with a 24% return with their 4+ year-olds.
So this 6yold grey is worth an e/w interest in a very open race.
She was a fair 4th at Wolves the last day but is down a pound and also gets Tom Kiely-Marshall helping by claiming 5lbs this time.
Add in that she’s a course winner too and draw 2 looks fine, then Mintara seems to have fair claims here.
4:30 Redcar: JAMES McHENRY
Jockey Callum Rodriguez has won this won this race for the last two years and even though that’s not enough of a reason to back this horse – it helps.
Trained by Edward Bethell, this 6yold has won 3 of his 21 starts and is now only 3lbs higher than the last of those.
He’s trying 1m2f again, which looks worth a crack based on how he kept on last time over 1m1f at Musselburgh and is 2lbs down from that run too.
The cheekpieces are also on today to help and he’s run okay on his only previous run here at Redcar.
4:50 Punchestown: PETIT TONNERRE
Today’s final each-way horse racing tip comes back at the Punchestown Festival – and a horse that actually won this race last season.
Petit Tonnerre isn’t the easiest horse to catch right, but you feel this contest has been a target for him again.
He won the pot by just over 2 lengths 12 months ago and is back rated only a pound higher.
Last year he also ran at Aintree before heading here – something this Jonjo O’Neill runner has done again this term.
We’ve also got last year’s runner-up Dont Go Yet back for more, who is running off a 7lb lower mark – so may history will repeat itself.
