Andy Newton Horse Racing NAP Tip Today (Tuesday 14th July, 2026)
7:25 Wolverhampton CLASSY CLARETS
Billy Loughnane has a decent book of rides at Wolves tonight and this Iain Jardine runner looks to be one of his best.
This 5yold is in rude form after two recent wins and switching to the AW today is actually 2lbs lower than last time.
He bolted up by 3 1/4 lengths from the front that day and more of the same could be on the cards from gate 2.
He’s also got winning form here at Wolverhampton, so the track will be fine and has won off this mark in the past.
Clarets is the call to be too classy again.
Today’s Other ‘Muggy Favs’ Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips (Tuesday 14th July, 2026)
2:30 Ffos Las JAAN KI TURKI
This Clive Cox runner is yet to get off the mark from 4 runs, but certainly brings the best form to the table – despite not winning.
He was last seen running 9th (21) in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot – beaten only 3 3/4 lengths.
The cheekpieces are on today too and unless one of the newcomers is a bit special, Turki should be getting off the mark at the fifth try.
3:37 Downpatrick SAN HILARIO
Looks a bit of a two-horse race, with the pick and the Willie Mullins runner Martin Plage.
But the last-named is back from a 587-day break and so I’d rather side with the Gordon Elliott entry San Hilario.
This is because the Elliott yard have a fine record in this race – winning 5 of the last 10.
Yes, this 5yold has been frustrating with no wins yet from 13 starts, but has been second 11 times so you feel a race like this (with no depth) is within range.
5:09 Killarney CELTIC MOTIF
Oisin Murphy has a big book of six rides at Killarney today and you feel if will be a shock if he’s not getting at least 2 or 3 on the scoreboard.
This Joseph O’Brien runner looks to be one of his best chances to date after showing a good level of form in the US.
She makes her debut for the yard, but was last seen running third at Tampa Bay Downs in January – beaten only 1/2 lengths.
Her new connections only got her 5 days ago, so running her so quickly is a good sign she’s ready to run well.
