Today’s Each-Way Horse Racing Betting Tips: Wednesday 29th April, 2026

2:30 Punchestown: CLOONAINRA

The first of today’s horse racing each-way tips comes at Punchestown in the ultra-competitive Handicap Final at 2:30pm.

Last year’s winner Thanksforthehelp is noted, but the John McConnell mare was also 5th last year and is back rated 2lbs lower and has a 4lb claimer on today too.

Therefore, if running to that level again this year should give us a run for our money.

With Sopelana also noted – she might want it a tad softer, but is 2-from-2 here at the track.

2:55 Southwell: WOPBOPALOOMOP

Some unknowns here with a lot of unexposed 2yolds heading to post.

But a chance is taken on the Richard Spencer runner Wopbopaloomop. Who was a fair 6th on debut at Redcar 9 days ago.

Was also sent off favourite that day to suggest she’s better than that showing.

The yard remain in good form (50% SR in the last 14 days) and also have a 27% return with their juveniles at this track.

Connections are also reaching for the tongue-tie today, so I’d not be shocked to see a step forward from that opening run.

3:50 Musselburgh: GIORGIO M

I thought this Mark Loughnane runner stood out today – mainly as the yard have a nice 60% (3-5) SR with their runners at the Scottish track.

This 5yold was a fair 4th last time at Wolves at the end of March, but less exposed on the turf with only 9 runs (1 win).

He’s also a CD winner at the track and is back rated 2lbs lower than his last win. Plus also has Jack Nicholls taking off 5lbs this time.

There’s a lot to like.

4:15 Punchestown: LOVE ME TENDER

Many chances here, with the main players at the head of the market – Doctor Steinburg, Fruit De Mer, The Passing Wife and Zanoosh all respected.

But the value call could be Love Me Tender, who is chanced to be his blue suede shoes forward here.

Yes, this McManus-owned 5yold is an unknown over this trip. However, what we do know is he’ll like the ground.

All three career wins have been on good/yielding, which will be very similar to today.

Mark Walsh rides and trainer Willie Mullins has a top record in this race with 7 wins in the last 9.
